Helping You Get healthy

Matcha Cashew Protein Bliss Balls

Matcha Cashew Protein Bliss Balls

It’s no secret.  I love matcha, I have a tea almost every day.  I also love having little energy balls or bars mid-day to help hold me over between lunch and dinner.  So I decided to combine these two things to create these bliss balls.

To make these balls I used my favourite powder by Matcha Ninja.  You can purchase it here or .

I love this particular one because it is so finely ground and creamy. When making tea with it there is no need to stir it, you simply add the powder to hot water and shake.  It also doesn’t taste bitter and is tested for heavy metals.

So why do I love it so much? For a few different reasons:

  • It contains less caffeine then coffee so you don’t get that jittery feeling
  • The release of caffeine is also slower
  • It contains L-theanine helps with relaxation without making you feel tired
  • Extremley high in antioxidants
